A naturalist ocean loving mother of three amazing little souls and wife to a creative carpenter. Living on the edge of the rustic inspiring wild Pacific in the little fishing village of Ucluelet on Vancouver Islands west coast.
Joleen has been making jewelry for as long as she can remember. Encouraged by her mother to get into art & craft supplies at a young age. Her patient Metis grandmother taught her how to work with seed beads on a loom, leather working and the art of weaving dream catchers. She is constantly teaching herself new skills and enjoys doing jewelry making workshops with seasoned jewellers.
Life is all about creating. My jewelry is inspired by the earthy elements of the west coast rain forest, treasures of the wild pacific, & the feeling you get while walking barefoot on soft sand while watching the waves roll in.
